in Photosynthesis, players grow seedlings into mature trees as the sun revolves around the forest (literally revolving around the board). If the sunlight falls on a player’s tree, they receive sun points to spend on increasing their supply. But other players’ taller trees may cast a shadow on other trees, blocking sun points.
MY THOUGHTS 💭
about halfway through I was enamored with how pretty our forest of trees looked. 🌲🌲🌲 I felt I had a pretty good strategy, but ended up not winning. Beyond the look of the game, there is plenty of strategy and interaction between all players to get the most points throwing shade on other trees.

Yes. This is a game I’d reach for often as a relaxing, not too heavy, second game of the night.
